If you deal with Telegram<\/a> bots every day, you may have noticed that the bots now show the number of their users. This feature has been added to the Telegram bots a couple of weeks ago. <\/span>This number does NOT show the actual number of bot users<\/b> and that has made challenges to the bots\u2019 admins. Telegram Bot User Count; New Update from Telegram<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

The SmartBotsLand<\/a> team has explored this feature in the last couple of weeks and have found that the bots actually show the number of <\/span>users who contacted them at least once during the last month<\/b>. To put it more clearly, the bots show the number of subscribers who have used the bot over the last 30 days, whether in their private messages (PM) or in a channel.\u00a0<\/span>It\u2019s good to know that SmartBotsLand bots have had this option for years. You can easily adjust the setting so that the bot shows the number of subscribers to all the users.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NOTE: <\/span>The number you see on top of the bot is different from the TOTAL NUMBER of bot users.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Latest Update on Jan 2025: If your bot doesn’t show the number of users anymore, don’t worry! There is nothing wrong with it!! In the latest update from Telegram, the bot shows the number of users only when it has more than 10K active users. So, if your bot has only 4000 members, you will NOT see the number anymore.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
