In this comprehensive guide, we delve into the step-by-step process of enabling the ‘Location Finder’ button in Telegram bots and how to add and categorize different addresses seamlessly.

How to Activate the Location Finder Feature in SmartBotsLand?

Step 1: Setting Categories for Places

Begin by categorizing your branches for easy navigation. Here’s how:

1. Log into your admin panel (Dashboard).

2. Then navigate to ‘Places Category’ under the ‘Places’ menu.

3. Click on ‘New’ to create a new category.

4. Define your desired categories for your places, ensuring clarity and organization.

  • Root: If you want to add a new option to your previous categories, you can assign a root for them (optional)

For example, you can add fast food as a subcategory of restaurants. In the Place Category Title box, write the name of your subcategory (for example, fast food).

  • Places category title: You have to set a suitable name for your category here.

Tip 1: You have to know that you can set some categories as subcategories of others.

Tip 2: The number of your bot depends on which version of the Telegram bot you have selected.

Now, that you have created your desired category for places it’s your turn to create your desired places.

Step 2: Adding Places in SmartBotsLand

Now, let’s populate your bot with detailed branch information:

  1. Access your admin panel (Dashboard).
  2. Go to ‘Create Place’ under the ‘Places’ menu.

Delete Selected: you can select and delete more than one place simultaneously.

Refresh: if you have saved the changes that you made earlier but they do not appear in the list, click on this button.
